Privacy policy

Your moments (titles, dates, time zones, collections, faces, colours, reminders, and memory notes) are stored in a local database. Cover photos and memory photos you pick or share into Not yet. are copied into the app's storage on your device. Reminders are scheduled locally. Widgets read from that local copy. None of this leaves the device unless you sign in or share.

Signing in is optional. We use Clerk for authentication through email and password, Google, or Apple, depending on your platform. Email passwords and verification codes are sent directly to Clerk and are not saved in the app's local database. Clerk receives your email address, name, account identifiers, and profile image if supplied by the sign-in provider. Your moments and cover photos, memory notes, and eligible memory photos are synced using Convex's database and file storage so they follow you across devices. Account identifiers connect these records to you. Private memory photos and notes are not published to World.

World loads curated dates from our servers. If you share your own moment, its title, date, icon, appearance, and optional cover are uploaded. It is not listed in World, but anyone with the link can view these details and join. Avoid sharing personal contact information or photos you do not have permission to share.

Searching World sends the search text to Convex to find matching events. Searching your local moments does not upload those search terms.

Following or joining an event records the event and a random installation identifier. Your UTC offset and activity timestamps support follower counts and presence. These identifiers are pseudonymous: they distinguish an installation without using an advertising identifier. Following an event does not publish your private memories.

Calendar access is optional and is requested when you choose to import. We read events on your device so you can select them. Only selected events become moments; we do not change your calendar. Imported titles, dates, time zones, and a source identifier used to avoid duplicates are saved with the moment. If you sign in, these selected moments sync like your other moments. Unselected calendar events are not uploaded.

Local memories and photos are free. Signed-in accounts can sync 25 memory photos on Free, or up to 1 GB on Plus. Photos beyond your allowance stay on the device where they were added; notes continue syncing. Existing cloud photos stay available if your plan ends. Deleting a synced photo removes its cloud copy and frees space.

RevenueCat receives a random account-linked purchase identifier so we can verify your photo allowance across devices. Uploads are compressed for sync. This is device sync, not a versioned archive: deletions also sync.

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card. To confirm that Plus is active, our billing provider RevenueCat processes purchase tokens or receipts, purchase history, subscription status, and a purchase customer identifier. When you sign in, we link a random purchase identifier to your account so Plus can work across devices. RevenueCat also processes app and platform information, such as app version, operating system, and store locale, and provides purchase and revenue analytics. The billing SDK connects when the app starts, even if you do not buy Plus. Manage or cancel a subscription in the store's subscription settings or from You, Manage Plus in the app.

Our service providers receive network information such as your IP address when the app connects. Clerk records sign-in and session activity, including device and browser information and an approximate city or country derived from your IP address, to manage sessions and protect accounts. We do not request GPS access or collect precise device location. A time zone offset is also used for World features.

We use Clerk for authentication, Convex for cloud data and file storage, RevenueCat for purchase verification and billing analytics, and Cloudflare to host our website. They process relevant data to provide these services. Your chosen sign-in provider and app store also process information under their own privacy policies. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

• Notifications: to deliver the reminders you set. Nothing is sent from our servers; reminders are scheduled on the device.
• Calendar: to let you choose events to import. We do not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
• Photos: when you choose a cover or memory photo, or share images into Not yet. from another app. We copy only the images you select, rather than reading your entire library.

• No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or sites.
• We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
• No separate behavior-analytics or crash-reporting SDK is installed in the app.
• We do not upload your entire photo library or unselected calendar events.

Not yet. is intended for teens aged 13 and over and adults. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask for your date of birth. If we learn that we hold personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it. A parent or guardian can contact us at amanvarshney.work@gmail.com to report an account or request deletion.

If you are a teen, review this policy with a parent or guardian. Local privacy and consent rules may give you additional protections. Keep private information out of shared moments and only share another person's photo with their permission. Contact us if you need help accessing, correcting, or deleting your data.

Delete the app and everything local is gone. If you signed in, use You, Account & Cloud Sync, Delete account in the app, or follow the steps on the delete your account page. Account deletion starts a background process to remove your synced moments, covers, memory notes and photos, events you created, and sign-in record. Local copies on your devices remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Copies that other people have already exported or shared cannot be recalled.

We retain cloud content while it is needed to provide your account and sync features, until you delete it or request account deletion. Limited transaction and security records may be retained where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or disputes. Contact us to request access, correction, an export, or deletion, including information held by our service providers. You can also export your memories from the app.

Connections to our services use HTTPS encryption in transit. Cloud sync is not end-to-end encrypted: the developer and service providers can process stored information to operate the service. Access is limited to what is needed to provide and support it.
